Job Purpose:

As a technical architect, you will support the Bank’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities by assisting in the design and management of innovative technology solutions. You will focus on enabling FinTech capabilities and AI/Generative AI into banking applications to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk management.

You will contribute to architecture standards, Fintech, Cloud and AI practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements. Working closely with senior architects and business units, the role promotes emerging technologies, fosters innovation, and builds foundational capabilities for the Bank’s technology landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior architects and subject-matter experts to enable FinTech, Cloud and AI/Generative AI architecture and capabilities aligned with the Bank’s digital strategy.
• Support designing and managing FinTech, Cloud and AI services into banking applications under guidance from senior architects.
• Contribute to defining technical standards and best practices for FinTech, Cloud and AI applications, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
• Research and recommend FinTech, Cloud and AI solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Work with business units to identify automation and AI-driven opportunities for process optimization.
• Facilitate architecture review and help enforce compliance with enterprise standards and governance processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends related to FinTech and AI.
• Work closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams to deliver architecture components for projects.
• Share knowledge and support team members in adopting architecture practices and emerging technologies.

Incumbent Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information technology and/or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years in system analysis & design, development and testing of project delivery.
• Minimum 5 years in architecture-related position in designing and driving a wide variety of application/ technology changes.
• Experienced system/ technical architect with exposure of FinTech, Cloud and AI projects in financial services.
• Experience of Cloud, AI, API integration, and microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Familiar with bank IT and business operation procedures, regulatory compliance and related technology trends.
• Positive personality with desire and passion in driving business growth through smart application of technology and agile design of operational process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
• Excellent team player striving for team success and win-win results.
