The Office of the Dean of Engineering is seeking a dedicated individual with strong communication and writing skills to fill this position. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the School Administration Team across various areas, including budget and personnel matters. Key responsibilities include (1) assisting with all academic personnel matters, facilitating the search and appointment process, and the faculty academic review process; (2) supporting committee meetings by preparing meeting materials and handling follow-up actions; and (3) assisting in digitizing records to ensure an efficient workflow process.
Requirements: Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably with relevant work experience. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Chinese, be detail-oriented and meticulous, possess a proactive attitude, and have strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
