Role Overview
We're hiring an all-rounded Assistant HR & Admin Manager to be the backbone of our people and operations. This is a hands-on role for a versatile professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll build our HR framework from the ground up, manage administrative functions, and create a vibrant workplace that attracts top fintech talent. Reporting directly to the Director, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Build and implement HR policies for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement tailored to a fintech startup.
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with fintech business goals, including talent acquisition, retention, and development
- Manage visa applications for new employees and handle renewals as necessary.
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compensation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations while maintaining startup agility.
Administration
- Manage office operations, including vendor management, facilities setup, and procurement of supplies for a lean startup.
- Streamline administrative processes like expense tracking, scheduling, and record-keeping to support a growing team.
- Support budget planning and cost optimization for HR and admin functions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- 8 years or above of HR and admin experience, ideally in startups, fintech, or tech-driven environments;
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices;
- Solid experience in handling Mainland China labor laws and HR policies will be highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
