Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide secretarial support to the Director of Research and Innovation, committees and task forces;
(b) assist in and provide support to the development and implementation of new initiatives;
(c) coordinate across divisions in the Office for reporting and office-wide activities;
(d) support the development and implementation of strategic plan of the Office;
(e) supervise supporting staff and provide advice to subordinates; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Research and Innovation or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree;
(b) at least five years of post-qualification administrative experience;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) strong liaison and organisational skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities;
(e) good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills;
(f) the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight timelines; and
(g) sound computer literacy, including Chinese word processing, PowerPoint and Excel.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
