Cost Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with CIMA finalist or equivalent
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in cost accounting or FP&A, with a strong focus on the manufacturing industry
- Matured, well organized, initiative and able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and sound business knowledge
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software and ERP system, QAD is preferable
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese, English and Mandarin
- Travel to Dongguan frequently
- Immediate available is preferred
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Cost Control & Financial Analysis:
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis, for all production sites
- Implement cost accounting processes for the new production sites
- Develop detailed financial plans and cost forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct on-site reviews with production facilities to analyze manufacturing costs and align with operational workflows
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and financial insights to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure cost management strategies align with business objectives
- Support inventory valuation and control processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
