Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Planning:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive media plans that align with marketing goals.
    • Select the right media channels and KOLs for targeted campaigns, ensuring optimal reach and engagement, primary in mainland market, but also overseas market
  2. Content Strategy:

    • Determine the appropriate formats for cooperation with the media (e.g., advertorials, editorials).
    • Create and manage content that resonates with both domestic and overseas audiences.
  3. ROI Measurement:

    • Establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness of media campaigns.
    • Analyze the ROI of various media partnerships and campaigns to inform future strategies.
  4. Social Media Management:

    • Oversee the management of social media accounts (WeChat, LinkedIn) to drive engagement and brand awareness, where WeChat is the focus.
    • Develop content, content calendars and monitor performance.
  5. Market Research:

    • Conduct research on trends in both the Mainland Chinese market and overseas markets to inform media strategy.
    • Stay updated on the evolving landscape of media and KOLs.
  6. Media Relations:

    • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and KOLs.
    • Draft press releases, editorials and manage outreach efforts.

Skills to Look For:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Proficiency in Mandarin, Fluent in Cantonese and English.
  • Media Planning Expertise: Experience in creating media plans, selecting channels, and understanding different formats.
  • KOL Knowledge: Familiarity with the KOL landscape in mainland and international markets is a plus
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to measure and report on ROI and campaign effectiveness.
  • Content Creation Skills: Strong writing abilities and experience in creating diverse content formats.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in media planning, content creation, including more than 5 years of experience for China Market at least
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Holding a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism
  • Working experience in IT industry, Telecom industry and To B industry for China market will be a plus
  • Creative, detailed-minded, independent, and strong project management skills
  • Good team player with communication skills
  • Proactive, able to work under pressure, willing to work overtime and weekend when needed
