Key Responsibilities
- Compile financial data, create monthly reports and analyze the financial for management’s review
- Prepare annual budget, full year forecast and analysis to the management for strategic planning and control
- Manage daily cash flow and oversee cash forecasting to ensure liquidity for operational needs
- Manage accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports
- Coordinate with banks and internal parties for bank accounts management, quarterly bond portfolio reviews and deposits/ yield optimization
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards, policies and procedures, both internal and external, and internal control, tax and statutory requirements
- Evaluate performance of business units, provide in-depth financial and scenario analysis and accounting advice to business unit heads, stay close to development of business units
- Provide recommendation and manage implementation of accounting system, updated functionalities, related processes, and integration with other systems;
- Assisting in managing ad hoc assignments / projects as required
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience. Min 3 years audit experience, preferably gained from Big 4 or sizable CPA firm. Min 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Hands-on and detailed oriented,
- Analytical and organized with strong commercial sense, good communications and inter-personal skills, mature, and self-motivated,
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline, and confident with a “can-do” spirit,
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as dynamic 365 business central, management dashboard & Microsoft office applications, and
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
