Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the Safety Policy and enforcement of the requirements of the Safety Manual;
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that they are safe and impose no risk of health;
- Provide monthly reports of findings and recommendations;
- Provide safety training courses per month;
- Monitor the compliance of safety rules and safe practices;
- Conduct risk assessments for the works in the Site;
- Report to the Services Manager or his delegate any unsafe practices or unsafe conditions;
- Assist in accident reporting and investigation and prepare the investigation reports;
- Attend any relevant safety and health management committee meetings and assist in the implementation of the actions agreed in the meetings;
- Assist in carrying out safety promotion campaign;
- Assist in implementing the quality and environmental management system.
Requirements:
- A registered safety officer under Labour Department;
- Holding equivalent academic qualification for registration as safety officer under Cap.59;
- Relevant 3 year experience;
- Good Chinese and English typing skills;
- Proficiency in using Computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;
- Priority given to candidates with proven experience/ knowledge of sewage treatment plant;
