Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, the appointee will be required to:
plan and oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities including offices and laboratories;
perform the procurement process for our facilities, and to assess, verify and monitor the procurement, operation and maintenance of the equipment for the laboratories and the R&D projects;
assist in monitoring the procurement budget and vendor management of R&D Projects;
assist the Safety Committee Chairman to oversee the laboratory and safety management, etc.;
supervise and oversee the regular routine maintenance, inspection and usage management of our facilities; and
perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:**
A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline;
Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, including experience in procurement management, at least three years in a supervisory role;
A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility as well as good interpersonal and problem solving skills;
Independent and able to work under pressure;
High proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing; and
A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
