Assistant General Manager of Sourcing & Purchasing

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Engineering, Business Administration, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
• Min. 9+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role within the electronics manufacturing industry (EMS preferred)
• Strong background in order fulfillment and material sourcing
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical component markets
• Independent, analytical, proactive, and collaborative team player
• Fluent in English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Able to manage various work cultural people by resulted oriented manner
• Able to work under pressure and moving towards a positive direction.
• Good communication skills and able to turnaround a conventional work practice
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Possess an extroverted character and speaking up in negotiation
• Based in Dongguan, travel to Hong Kong and Mexico required.

Job Responsibilities: -

• Lead the purchasing team to support daily factory operations
• Optimize supply chain efficiency across suppliers and internal operations
• Monitor and enhance supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness
• Review and enrich the AVL & delivery lead-time in regular basis
• Well establish the VMI with keys and high volume of suppliers
• Annual conference with approved supplier and convey the projected the coming year forecast and demand annually
• Perform cost reduction in direct and indirect material with proper strategy.
• Close interactions with Sales & PMC department for order pattern and determine the most cost-effective procumbent approach.
• Streamline the existing Purchasing team in both HK and China
• Disaster and Risk management plan in material shortage of supply in market
