Role Overview
As General Manager, you will oversee our operations in the energy sector, driving business growth through strategic M&A activities and effective team leadership. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of the energy market while ensuring alignment with our long-term vision for sustainability and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies that support growth and operational efficiency within the energy sector.
- M&A Activities: Lead M&A initiatives, including identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Fund Management: Oversee the setup and management of investment funds tied to new energy projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities within the energy sector.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to foster collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets and strategic objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 5 years in a general management role; significant M&A experience is essential.
- Background: Proven track record at a top-tier investment bank, with experience in fund setup and team leadership within the energy industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
