This incumbent will be responsible for handling a wide range of the Group’s insurance-related duties in Hong Kong, the PRC and South-East Asia. This includes but not limited to managing the insurance renewal exercises, claims handling, liaising with insurance brokers and reviewing insurance policies.
Responsibilities:
Support Associate Senior Manager - Insurance in insurance renewal or placement for various insurance programs including conducting tenders, information collection with various business units, negotiating terms and conditions with brokers and etc
Administer various insurance programs, including handling various insurance documents, movements, enrolments, training sessions arrangement and preparing insurance budget and etc
Manage various insurance claims, including legal cases, by liaising with brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors and other relevant parties
Attend site surveys and inspections with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters and solicitors when required
Perform policy reviews for contractors' insurance to ensure compliance with the Group’s insurance requirements
Handle enquiries from various business units
Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
A University degree holder, preferably with professional insurance qualifications, such as ANZIIF Senior Associate or ACII
Minimum of 5 years of general insurance experience in sizable organizations or the insurance industry. Experience in a similar in-house position is highly preferred
Good knowledge of various classes of insurance, specifically property and casualty insurance, motor insurance and employee compensation insurance
Proactive, independent, attentive to detail, collaborative and good interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office with particular proficiency in Excel being an advantage
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Immediately available is highly preferred
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
