We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Manager, Responsible Investment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Support to maintain and implement sustainability-related policies, guidelines and procedures
• Support in strengthening responsible investment integration across asset classes by data analytics and system transformation
• Conduct sustainability thematic research and deliver routine write-ups
• Conduct portfolio-level sustainability performance monitoring and analysis and issuer-level ESG due diligence check
• Lead and collaborate with portfolio managers in corporate engagement activities to deliver tangible outputs from investee companies
• Participate in proxy voting recommendations and reviews for investment teams
• Work with sales and product teams to develop ESG/sustainability labelled strategies and support in client meetings, due diligence and RFPs
• Participate in ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Responsible Investment from time to time

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ working experience in sustainable investment/finance and/or ESG advisory to financial institutions
• Extensive knowledge about the landscape of ESG/sustainable finance/RI related global and regional policies, legislations and standards
• Highly skilled in article creation, report writing and preparation of presentations
• Experience in data analytics with application of the 3rd party ESG datasets and proficient in advanced Excel and VBA
• Be strong self-motivated and curiosity, advanced interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese
