Kai Tak Sports Park is a Design, Build and Operate project funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Opened in 2025, it is Hong Kong's first multi-purpose sports, entertainment and leisure precinct, providing world-class venues and facilities for major events and community enjoyment. Kai Tak Sports Park Ltd has been awarded the contract to undertake this project. Legends Global, through its subsidiary company in Hong Kong, SMG China, has been engaged by KTSPL to be the Operator of Kai Tak Sports Park.

Reports To: Senior Manager - Hospitality Sales

Role Introduction:

As the Manager International Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to enhance our presence especially in Mainland China, driving ticket sales, hospitality packages, and sponsorship opportunities for events at Kai Tak Sports Park. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our international sales efforts align with business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Your expertise in the Mainland China market will be instrumental in shaping our international sales strategy and achieving long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting the Mainland China market to maximize revenue from ticket sales, hospitality packages, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, agencies, and partners in Mainland China.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with international clients, partners, and agencies to expand market reach and revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market analyses to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape across global markets, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Event Operations, and Ticketing, etc. to ensure seamless delivery of hospitality services.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage client relationships, track sales activities, and generate performance reports.
  • Develop customized sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials tailored to international audiences.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with international clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and report on international sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development of multilingual sales tools and resources to enhance communication with non-English speaking clients.
  • Ensure compliance with international business regulations and cultural sensitivities in all sales activities.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the Director of Sales to inform decision-making.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Able to travel to Mainland China

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or sports industry, with a focus on the Mainland China market.
  • Demonstrated success in international sales with references, particularly in the Mainland China market.
  • Strong understanding of the Mainland China business landscape and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong business negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Insight into customer needs and ability to develop tailored solutions for the Mainland China market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
