Kai Tak Sports Park is a Design, Build and Operate project funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Opened in 2025, it is Hong Kong's first multi-purpose sports, entertainment and leisure precinct, providing world-class venues and facilities for major events and community enjoyment. Kai Tak Sports Park Ltd has been awarded the contract to undertake this project. Legends Global, through its subsidiary company in Hong Kong, SMG China, has been engaged by KTSPL to be the Operator of Kai Tak Sports Park.

Reports To: Manager - Hospitality Sales

Role Introduction:

As the Assistant Manager - Hospitality Sales at Kai Tak Sports Park, you will support the sales team in driving revenue through the sale of corporate suites, loge boxes, and other hospitality products. You will assist in executing sales strategies, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure a premium customer experience. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the development and success of the hospitality program at the precinct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue from hospitality packages, catering services, event sponsorships and other hospitality products.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets with respect to the hospitality program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Engage in sales activities including face-to-face meetings, telephone outreach, digital engagement, leveraging social and professional networks, and effective research regarding industries, specific prospects/targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings in the Hong Kong hospitality market.
  • Utilize the internal CRM system to manage client interactions, track sales progress, and generate reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Event Operations, and Ticketing, etc. to ensure seamless delivery of hospitality services.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure the successful execution of hospitality services during events, addressing client needs and feedback.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing our hospitality offerings and event capabilities.
  • Assist in tracking sales performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to the Manager - Hospitality Sales.
  • Assist in organizing hospitality events and client engagement activities to promote offerings and build relationships.
  • Monitor client feedback and service quality to identify areas for improvement and ensure a premium customer experience.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in hospitality, business, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or hospitality, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • A proven track record of sales with demonstrated success and references in the hospitality sales space.
  • A strong understanding of the Hong Kong market and business landscape.
  • Strong business negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Cantonese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Excellent customer needs insight and the ability to develop solutions based on these customer requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
