CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited is a Licensed Bank registered in Hong Kong, which is formerly known as Wing Lung Bank. Founded on 25th February 1933, CMB Wing Lung Bank is among the oldest local Chinese banks in Hong Kong. In 2008, CMB Wing Lung Bank was acquired by China Merchants Bank (CMB). In 2009, the Bank has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of CMB. In 2018, the Bank has renamed as CMB Wing Lung Bank.

CMB Wing Lung Bank and its subsidiaries hold multi licenses in banking, insurance, securities, trust and asset management sectors. Serving customers with whole-hearted, the Bank provides comprehensive banking products and services including retail banking, corporate banking and financial markets, etc. Among them, private banking, syndicated loans, bond issuance, financial markets, asset custody and asset management are influential and competitive in the market. Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective working relations with clients and responding promptly and professionally to client requests
  • Responsible for handling day-to-day administration of the Trust in accordance with the policies and procedures, which includes investments, distribution, annual trust review, termination and involves in change of trust structure
  • Responsible for the BVI / Hong Kong companies’ administration such as activation / change of director / shareholder / secretary, BVI economic substance reporting, BVI fees payment
  • Responsible for issuance of fee invoices to clients and monitor the fee collection status
  • Understand clients’ needs and seek to continuously meet with them and enhance service level
  • Demonstrate strong commitment towards Trust Services and expertise in trust administration and other matters in relation thereto
  • Give inputs and suggestions in the workflow enhancement during Trust Procedural Manual review and assist in reviewing trust templates for the Team
  • Work with team members to enhance both trust service standard and streamline workflow for trust administration
  • Contribute towards the business as a whole in identifying process improvements, including improvements in policies and procedures and any other service innovation changes that would improve the client experience
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, with Business Administration or Accounting preferred
  • 7 years or above working experience in financial institution or professional firm, preferably with trust administration experience
  • Member of HKCGI /Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner will be an advantage
  • Willing to challenge status quo and apply non-conventional way to work to support the trust business
  • Possess good inter-personal skills, and is willing to take up additional responsibilities
  • Good team spirit, with good analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English, both written and spoken (Putonghua is preferred)
