Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Project Management & Delivery

• Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure of key infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, data center consolidations, cloud deployments, and office relocations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders using Agile methodology.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Manage project changes effectively through a formal change control process and coordinate with different teams for status updates and effective reporting.
• Ensure all projects adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and relevant compliance standards.

2. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Serve as the primary point of communication for project status, updates, and escalations.
• Develop and distribute clear, concise, and regular status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, and team members, highlighting progress, risks, budget, and key milestones.
• Facilitate effective project meetings, including kick-offs, steering committee meetings, and daily stand-ups, ensuring agendas are clear and minutes/action items are distributed.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes.

3. Financial & Cost Management

• Develop comprehensive project budgets and forecasts.
• Track all infrastructure-related costs, including hardware, software, labor, and vendor expenses, and report on Capex & Opex.
• Manage the procurement process, including the creation of RFPs, evaluation of bids, and vendor selection.
• Provide regular financial reporting, analyzing variances between actual costs and the budget, and explaining discrepancies.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the approved financial framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ACP, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on IT or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets of HKD 50M or more.
• Strong sense of ownership and experience in handling infrastructure-related projects and tasks.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin required.
