Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of different data science initiatives, including deep learning models and statistically advanced model scripts, to support data science and analytics initiatives on AI.
  • Work on Data Science projects with different stakeholders to expand the data science discipline into the business application spectrum.
  • Support the development of LLM-related projects, eg, Knowledge Bot, Document Understanding, etc.
  • Support C360 Datamart enhancement and pipelines maintenance.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance and effectiveness of existing models in production.
  • Manage BI solution development and implementation for various MI reporting using Power BI.
  • Deliver insights from the data visualization process from a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • 7-8 years of professional experience in data analytics, including roles as a statistician, analyst, or data scientist, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in RAG and agentic workflow design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end model development process, including data cleansing, feature engineering, model training, and validation, along with familiarity with underlying algorithms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Web programming experience is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to or knowledge of the insurance industry will be an asset.
  • Proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager.
