Responsibilities:
- Analyze the potential for business growth in global transmission by identifying market trends and internal requirements related to IP networks, cloud services, and digital platforms
- Develop global transmission strategies by monitoring advancements in transmission and network technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and assessing internal resources
- Coordinate and contribute to branch-level transmission projects to align efforts and enhance the global impact of transmission initiatives
Requirements:
- Master degree in Telecommunications, Transmission, or IT-related disciplines
- A minimum of 4 years' working experience in Cloud Computing, Network, transmission or telecommunications industry
- Solid knowledge of telecommunication networks, especially optical communication networks, including but not limited to optical devices, optical fibers, optical cables (including submarine cables), WDM, OTN, ROADM, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Willingness to travel as needed
