BIM Technical Lead

We are looking for a BIM Technical lead to lead and oversee technical aspects within the design drawing department. This position also requires expertise in managing technical strategies and ensuring project excellence.

Description

As a Technical Lead, your main responsibilities will include

• Lead and mentor a team of BIM and CAD specialists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and efficiency.
• Oversee the development and implementation of BIM and CAD strategies to support project teams across Hong Kong, China, Macau, and international
• Allocate internal resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and budgets, to meet project deadlines and optimize team performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to integrate BIM and CAD solutions into project workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal team to follow up client's request and ensure timely and effective communication to address client needs and provide status updates.
• Drive technical advancements by evaluating and adopting new software, tools, and methodologies in BIM and CAD.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide training to enhance skills and address any gaps.
• Manage risks related to technical delivery, including quality control, data integrity, and coordination with external stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Head of Technical should have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in BIM and CAD, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Qualification of relevant professional institutions (e.g. CCBM, MHKIBIM, MHKICBIM) is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong technical knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
