China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Company” or “China State Hong Kong”) started its construction business in Hong Kong in 1979. The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and Lead a team for project implementation
- Create and establish innovative construction methods or product for digitalization.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Oversee project delivery and team performance to ensure effective execution.
- Coordinate and prepare master programs or working schedules.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors regarding contract implementation and operational details.
- Identify and resolve potential implementation and operational issues, coordinating across various trades.
- Manage a range of IoT devices, including sensors, RFID hardware, embedded controllers, and data transmission modules.
- Participate in demonstrations, trial runs, and commissioning with clients.
- Prepare progress reports and submission schedules.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and licensing requirements, such as SSSS, DWSS, EDMS, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Civil Engineering, Building Services, CS, ECE, or related disciplines.
- Chartered Membership of HKIE, ICE, HKIS or RPE is preferable.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in major civil or building projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Enthusiasm for high-tech and construction industries.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective individual contributor with a strong team collaboration ability.
- Immediate availability is highly preferable.
