Responsibilities
- Ensure policies, standards and procedures design for the operations of personal digital channels and platform being executed properly with appropriate controls advised by 2nd Line of Defence or Divisional Risk and Compliance
- Ensure and support sections to comply with the departmental policies, procedures manuals are established and/or updated in compliance with the latest applicable regulatory requirements
- Liaise with relevant sections and Division Risk and Compliance to conduct gap analysis and self-assessment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform departmental policies and procedures manuals review and update to ensure comply with the latest applicable regulatory requirements
- Prepare monitoring reports and self-assessment for Compliance Division and Risk Management Division’s review on regulatory compliance and risk management matters including gap analysis, compliance review, risk assessment, and monitor the progress of compliance projects, etc.
- Collaborate with the related sections to provide risk and compliance comments on operation and digital channels initiatives
- Assist team to ensure the operation of personal digital channels and platform in compliance with the latest regulatory requirements and internal guideline and to meet the pre-defined SLA
- Coordinate among different sections within department / other functional units in relation to risk and compliance tasks assigned
Requirements
- University graduate in a relevant discipline, i.e. Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, etc.
- Preferable over 5 years’ experience in banking sector covering the following:
- 3 years in managing risk and compliance or related experiences of digital channels is preferable
- Knowledge in digital channels, risk management framework and regulatory requirements issued by HKMA and other regulators is preferable
- Excellent analytical skills
- A good team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
*Candidates with more experience can be considered for Senior Business Control Manager position
