Department: Data Centre & Network Implementation
In this position, you will:
- Liaise with various parties such as planning, finance, procurement, maintenance and external contractors to oversee facility services and fit-out projects for the Telecom Data Hub (Aggregation Exchange)
- Oversee Telecom Data Hub (Aggregation Exchange) projects: Work closely with the planning and maintenance and external contractors to offer professional expertise in the construction of new hubs. This involves, but is not limited to, site selection, feasibility studies, technical proposal development, and in-depth data analysis concerning the overall system facility architecture.
- Prepare tender specifications, contracts, and drawings
- Review and comment the contract documents submitted by contractors
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations and industry standards
- Manage on-site services and on-site progress to ensure the projects are delivered on time.
To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Degree or above in Building Services Engineering /Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering / Facilities Management or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experiences in E&M construction field in Data Centre / Telecommunications industry
- Solid experience in handling electrical power and cooling related to infrastructure systems for Data Centre / Aggregation exchange
- Demonstrate strong experience working with E&M contractors
- Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD
- Holder of Registered Electrical Worker certificate of Grade A or above will be an advantage
