We are now looking for the following position to work in our Tap Shek Kok plant:
ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
Job Description:
- Identify and research opportunity for alternative material, fuel and forms of energy for the operation of the cement plant;
- Undertaking resource recovery and recycling system design, procurement, and installation project;
- Coordinate with plant process engineer in technology feasibility study for pollution control, waste management, and carbon capture projects;
- Review, update and maintain all resource recovery and recycling operation procedures and record as required;
- Document and maintain plans, requirement, and permits;
- Prepare various feasibility study reports, and perform other duties as required; and
- To comply with existing in-house safety and health rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering related discipline or equivalent;
- 2 to 5 years related Environmental Engineering experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project), drafting and design software (e.g. solidWork, Autocad, etc);
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; and
- Candidates with strong related job experience but lower education qualification would be considered.
