About the Company
- Subsidiary of a Hong Kong-listed electronics manufacturing group
- Expanding into computer server production with a new, state-of-the-art facility in Dongguan
- Seeking a technically strong and execution-focused leader to oversee the successful launch of a new computer server assembly line
the Opportunity: Project Engineering Director – Computer network Server manufacturing
- Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Responsible for leading the planning, setup, and operational readiness of a new computer server production line
- Focused on engineering execution, process development, and production line launch
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end launch of a new computer server assembly line, from planning to full-scale operation
- Coordinate engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to meet technical and operational milestones
- Define project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee equipment installation, process development, and production line validation
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness and operational excellence
- Resolve technical challenges and implement process optimizations on the shop floor
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and product specifications
- Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management and stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- Proven experience in computer server or related computer product manufacturing is essential
- Experience in production line setup or ramp-up is an advantage
- Strong project management skills with solid technical expertise
- Hands-on experience with server architecture, PCB assembly, and automated production systems
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and leadership capabilities
