Role Summary: Senior Sales Manager – Fruit & Vegetable Division
- Strategic leadership role with full accountability for sales performance, growth, and profitability
- Responsible for driving commercial success and market expansion of the fresh produce business
- Leads a team of 8–10 professionals across sales and procurement
- Reports directly to senior management and contributes to company-wide strategic initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the fruit and vegetable division in Hong Kong
- Drive revenue growth and ensure profitability through effective sales planning and execution
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients including supermarket chains and foodservice operators
- Expand and manage supplier networks across the US, Australia, Europe, and China
- Identify and establish new sourcing channels in China to enhance product offerings
- Oversee sales operations, distribution, and customer service to ensure operational excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales goals with procurement, logistics, and marketing
Ideal Candidates
- Extensive experience in fruit and vegetable import and distribution
- Strong network of retail and foodservice clients in Hong Kong
- Proven relationships with overseas suppliers in the US, Australia, and Europe
- Familiarity with China-based sourcing and the Hong Kong wholesale market
- Prior experience with major Hong Kong supermarket chains is highly advantageous
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
