Market Finance Director is a key strategic partner to the Market Management Team, responsible for overseeing financial operations within the market. This role ensures financial compliance, drives budgeting and forecasting processes, and supports strategic decision-making aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Market Finance Director reports to Group Finance Director with matrix reporting to the Head of Market, and collaborates closely with FP&A Director, RDC Director and other cross-functional leaders to implement initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency in the market
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Provide insight into market-level financial performance and create actionable plans to steer results.
- Ensure compliance with TMF corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a financial advisor to the Market Management Team, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with all the relevant stakeholders to align market strategies with global financial and strategic goals.
- Drive and/or support global strategic initiatives.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles in collaboration with FP&A, business controller and business leaders.
- Track performance against budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
Performance Management
- Monitor Revenue, EBITDA, cash EBITDA and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial health and operational efficiency.
- Support cost optimization and investment prioritization efforts.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with business and operations to ensure (financial) alignment across functions.
- Lead or support global and market projects and initiatives that drive value creation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
