Singapore International School (Hong Kong) offers through-train education from Preparatory Years to pre-university levels for all nationalities and is the only overseas school supported by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE). The School is looking for a dynamic, self-driven and passionate individual responsible for actively engaging our diverse alumni network and cultivating strategic partnerships that would help advance the School’s vision and goals.
This role will report to the Vice-Principal of Administration and Finance and work closely with the Alumni Association in coordinating a wide range of alumni events and communications, as well as providing critical support for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding other external partnerships that would expand opportunities for our current students and alumni. The individual would be one excited by the prospects of strengthening our local and global alumni ties and organising outreach programmes as well as collaborating with the Parent Teacher Association and internal teams, including the University Counselling and Corporate Communications departments.
Overall, the Coordinator / Manager will play a key role in fostering lifelong connections, enhancing school’s visibility, and contributing to the overall success of the School’s external relations efforts. The successful candidate can look forward to career development with the School as our connections with partners continue to expand and grow.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree holder or higher in marketing, communications, business administration, public relations, or relevant disciplines.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in alumni relations, public relations or related fields from education sector. Individual with more experience will be considered for a more senior position.
Possess hands-on skills in content creation, database management and event management.
Excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin) with strong communication skills.
Self-driven and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility, excellent organisational skills and a collaborative mindset.
