Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) hosted a themed seminar “Innovation & Technology Prospect - Hong Kong’s Emerging Tech Frontier: Entrepreneurial Opportunities & Talent Demand” today, explored how the city's expanding I&T ecosystem creates new growth pathways for global talent.
Mr James Xu, Senior Manager of Ecosystem Development at Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Ltd (HSITP) highlighted how HSITP’s facilities and integrated ecosystem create new opportunities for enterprises and entrepreneurs by connecting ideas, research, testing, pilot production and commercialisation, complemented by funding and talent support initiatives that further promote long-term I&T growth.
Sharing practical insights into intelligent acoustic technology, Mr Antoine Kuhnast, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Safehear, demonstrated how startups can leverage Hong Kong as a strategic springboard for global expansion. He illustrated how collaboration across the Greater Bay Area (GBA) accelerates R&D, testing, and commercialisation for deep-tech audio ventures.
Dr Vincent Zhu, Chief Operating Officer of Talonis Surgical Limited, shared practical applications in smart healthcare and AI surgical robotics. He emphasised Hong Kong's unique advantages in combining international vision, capital efficiency, and world-class healthcare with GBA connectivity, while encouraging emerging talent to leverage growth prospects in the city.
