The “Dragon 100” recruits 100 exceptional ethnic Chinese youth from around the globe each year to explore Hong Kong and at least one city in Chinese Mainland, as they enhance their understanding of social and economic issues, gain a broader perspective and make new friends. The “Dragon 100” 2025 is also supported by Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) and as an official programme of the HKSAR Government’s Youth Fest.
This year’s theme, Drops of the Future: Sustainability, will take place from 17-24 December 2025, highlighting water resource management in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Dongjiang Water Supply Project. It also introduces and empowers the participants to the Sustainable Development Goals, including Clean Water and Sanitation (Goal 6); Sustainable Cities and Communities (Goal 11); Climate Action (Goal 13) and Life Below Water (Goal 14).
Delegates will experience 3 vibrant cities: Hong Kong, Huizhou (惠州), and Dongguan (東莞). Through visits to water management facilities, ecological projects and innovative tech enterprises, participants will gain hands-on insights into sustainable development solutions. The itinerary also features cultural immersions at historical landmarks, fostering a sense of national identity.

19–21 December: Huizhou
22–24 December: Dongguan & back to Hong Kong
