Description of Tasks
Data Centre Technicians maintain and operate the facilities of data centre as well as to supervise external facility contractors to carry out scheduled maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting knowledge and skills
Data Centre Technicians troubleshoot and work out solutions for the problems when telecommunications equipment malfunctions.
Data network system knowledge and skills
Data Centre Technicians must possess the knowledge and skills of the operation of the network system in the data centres.
Minimum Requirements
  • A certificate in electronics, telecommunications, or computer technology
  • With knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, switches & router configuration are preferable
  • At least 1 year's experience in telecommunications, information systems, or computer work
