Description of Tasks
Shipping Managers oversee and manage full operation of import & export and inventory controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy and stock turnover and effectively tackle unexpected shipping problems on a timely basis. To provide overall leadership, direction and coordination internally and externally in all matters relating to logistic and warehouse management.
Shipping Knowledge and Skills
Shipping Managers must be able to understand the I/E procedure & regulation, L/C & banking document handling and Tradelink declaration.
Communication Skills
Shipping Managers must be able to maintain relationships at all levels.
