Description of Tasks

Yacht Deckhands (Maritime) carry out berthing and unberthing duties under the supervision of Yacht Captains. They also undertake general cleaning and maintenance work. Subject to the size of the yachts, they may need to support water sports activities of the yachts and assist in serving food and beverage to guests.

Basic knowledge and skills in navigation

Yacht Deckhands (Maritime) should have basic navigation knowledge to perform berthing and unberthing duties.

Basic knowledge and skills in machinery maintenance

Yacht Deckhands (Maritime) should be able to assist the Captains in repairing and maintaining the machinery of the yachts.

Minimum Requirements

• Pleasure Vessel Operator Grade 2 Certificate preferred but not a must
• 1 to 3 years of yachting experience
• First-aid and fire-fighting certificates preferred

$12,000-$20,000
