Senior Risk Management Assistant Manager/ Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Risk Management Consultant to report directly to the Senior Risk Management Managers. In this position, you will play a vital role in coordinating and communicating the group’s ongoing risk management activities.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the group’s business units to conduct risk assessments, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk management activities in line with internal protocols and external regulatory requirements, ensuring effective application of risk management policies and guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic reports and documents detailing significant risks for submission to senior management and the Board Audit and Risk Committee.
• Support whistleblowing investigations and internal audit assignments when necessary.
• Provide technical assistance for internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
• Gather and analyze news, policies, regulations, and other information relevant to the company's development using business analytics tools.
• Undertake any ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• A university degree in risk management, finance, accounting, or a related field, alongside relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CRMA).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in audit or risk management within professional firms or large, diversified companies.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and applicable local and global regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with business analytical tools and whistleblowing investigations is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin and Cantonese) is essential.
• Experience in the PRC is preferred, with the potential for travel to the PRC if required.
