DNA Recruit Partners is collaborating with a subsidiary of a leading banking group in Asia(Top 3 in Southeast Asia region), renowned for its strong presence across the regionThey are currently seeking a Settlement Assistant Manager/Senior Officer to join their operation team

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily nominee services, including stock transfers, corporate action processing, and proxy voting management.
  • Perform daily and monthly stock and cash reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Handle IPO subscriptions, private placements, and other market-related operations with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients on settlement and corporate action inquiries, providing timely and professional service.
  • Liaise effectively with external brokers, custodians, and internal departments (e.g., Front Office, Finance) to resolve settlement fails, trade discrepancies, and other operational issues.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement, assisting in the development and implementation of more efficient workflow procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Play an active role in system development projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system migration, and the operational onboarding of new products and services.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities settlement and corporate actions within a bank, broker, or global custodian.
  • Solid, hands-on experience with HKEX's CCASS; experience with Euroclear or other international clearing systems (e.g., DTC, Clearstream) is a strong advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of nominee structures, custody services, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of the SFC's rules and regulations pertaining to settlement and client asset protection.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
