Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production operations of assigned sections to meet production schedules and internal quality requirements
- Allocate manpower effectively across sections and production lines to optimize productivity.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain the documentation system to fulfil ISO & BRC Audit requirement
- Provide training to production staff on quality control and safety procedures
- Participate in regular Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) patrols and safety inspections to ensure hygiene and safety requirements are met in the production workplace.
- Assist in preparing machine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure consistent and safe operation.
- Participate in projects and quality/safety improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance production efficiency.
- Undertake other ad hoc projects, events, or assignments as assigned by the superior to support departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, industrial engineering, manufacturing or other related disciplines
- 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Computer literacy (e.g. MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Immediate available is highly preferred
