Job Description

ICBC International Holdings Limited (“ICBC International”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICBC in Hong Kong. It is exposed to capital markets and provides financing clients with services in four product lines; corporate financing, investment business, sales & trading and asset management. Responsibilities:

          • Carry out post production monitoring on key regulatory requirements or areas with severe regulatory implication if not properly managed and report (e.g. client money rule, client asset rule and statement of account)
          • Identify Operational Risk and/or Loss incident and leading a thorough and complete risk management cycle (Identification, investigation, mitigation, and monitoring)
          • Assist on periodic Operational Risk Assessments, preparing periodic Operational Risk Management Reports following company’s policy(collection of raw data, data validation, analysis, and presentation)
          • Be subject matter expert in Operational Risk Management and primary contact point within the department, facilitate and promote operational risk awareness and up-tier risk control culture
          • Assist on operational risk assessments (including but not limited to New Product / Business initiatives)
          • Establish key components for the department's Operational Risk Self-Assessment framework and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), while conducting regular risk reviews and self-inspections.
          • Lead the company's Business Continuity Plan, including driving the development of the BCP framework, formulating and optimizing contingency plans, conducting business impact analysis and emergency resource allocation analysis, executing emergency drills, evaluating outcomes and implementing enhancements, as well as coordinating and facilitating incident response.
          • Perform specific / ad-hoc assignments at request of direct manager, particular in relation to process, control, risk, infrastructure matter

Requirements:

          • > 3 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, or Compliance Review, or Audit
          • Knowledge of investment Banking and Asset Management business
          • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Mandarin, and English)
          • University Graduate with experience and knowledge in Operational Risk Management and Investment Banking business preferred but not a pre-requisite

          Technical Skills / Soft Skills Requirement

          • Sound knowledge in Operational Risk Management Toolkits (including KRI, scenario analysis, quality assurance review, incident management and reporting), data analysis and summarization skills
          • Excellent on MS software (including Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
          • Fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese is an advantage
