Facilities & Engineering Operations Lead - Banking(70-80k)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations of a 24/7 data center and critical facilities within the banking sector, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Mentor and lead the facilities team by setting clear goals and promoting a high-performance culture tailored to banking property management.
• Supervise maintenance activities to ensure compliance with banking industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee contractors and vendors to guarantee quality in repairs, upgrades, and project implementations specific to banking facilities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking industry.
• Utilize the Building Management System (BMS) to optimize energy efficiency across banking facilities.
• Address inquiries, complaints, and emergency situations effectively, focusing on banking clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in audit reviews and assessments to maintain operational integrity within banking facilities.
• Tackle operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and make decisions to uphold service quality in a banking environment.
• Track and manage operational budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring alignment with banking financial practices.

Requirements:

• Strong abilities in team management, delegation, and conflict resolution within a banking context.
• Proven track record in managing complex technical and facilities management projects specifically in the banking sector.
• Essential experience in managing staff, third-party vendors, and financial budgets relevant to banking operations.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timely delivery in banking facilities management.
• Competence in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the banking industry.
• Preferably experienced in managing facilities for multiple retail banking outlets.
• A bachelor’s degree and relevant trade certifications in business, engineering, electrical, mechanical, facilities management, or building services are preferred.
• Minimum of five years in the engineering field, with significant experience in data center and facilities management within the banking sector.
• Proven ability to lead teams of engineers, supervisors, and technicians focused on banking facilities.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; experience in banking property management is required.
