Head of IT (Technology) (ERP project/ Big data) $48-58K

Our client – IT Solutions Firm, is now looking for Head of Technology join within their team.

Key Accountabilities

• Inspire and advocate the company with emerging technological trends and advancements, to maintain our competitive advantage and transform into an extraordinary, world leading public transport business, with development of new digital initiatives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that can grow the business with agility and efficiency.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of cloud technologies, data analytics, and artificial intelligence
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify technology opportunities, define project requirements, and deliver exceptional user experiences
• Recommend software and support outsourcing for the best value and agility for the business.
• Oversee the design, development, integration, deployment of technology projects, and their maintenance , ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Establish and enforce technology standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the organization
• Ensure robust cybersecurity practices and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Oversee risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for technology operations
• Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure. Ensure the safeguarding of company all hardware and software assets. Ensure safe, reliable operations of critical systems.
• Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to optimize technology investments and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Manage ERP project, ensure timely delivery and implementation

Knowledge

• Manage ERP project is a must
• Keep abreast of latest information technology which can evolve or disrupt the business
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
• Solid understanding of big data and data analytics
• Understanding of bus or other transportation or logistics discipline operations in Hong Kong, international experience is an advantage

• Strong understanding and experience in managing ERP project

Qualifications

• 20 years or above experience in technology or transport related discipline, including at least 10 years in managerial grade
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, transport related subject or Business Administration
