Business System Analyst (Private wealth management, Java)

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills combined with technical proficiency in Java development, specifically within wealth management, securities, brokerage, or private banking domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business requirements for trading systems, portfolio management, and client onboarding platforms
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories for Java-based applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions for wealth management systems
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose technology solutions to enhance brokerage operations
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders (traders, relationship managers, operations) and technical teams
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure system functionality meets business requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience in wealth management, securities, brokerage, or private banking
  • Hands-on Java development experience with current coding skills
  • Understanding of financial instruments and trading lifecycle
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
