Senior Systems Analyst - Associate - Post-Trade Systems - 12-month Contract

Job Summary:
The Post-Trade Application Team is responsible for the design, implementation and application support of HKEX's post-trade systems, including clearing and settlement, nominee and depository, collateral and risk management systems for post-trade business.

Job Duties:

As Senior Systems Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for on-going maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancements of HKEX systems. You have to work closely with other technical teams, vendors and business users for development and production support of post-trade systems. Besides, you may also be required to lead and participate in ad-hoc projects of technology obsolescence on behalf of Post-Trade Application Team.

Job Responsibilities:- Perform business requirement analysis, resource estimation, system design, application development, testing, system rollout and documentation

• Prepare the system documentation, including Functional and Technical Specifications, Test Plans for various kinds of testing, and user & operation manuals.
• Serve as primary support and day-to-day maintenance for SWIFT system, including but not limited to system and software upgrade, patch management, etc
• Conduct and support quality assurance review as required by internal and external parties, e.g. SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF).
• Collaborate with other IT teams, business users and vendors on testing and support activities during the project development
• Adhere to IT and organization policies and standards for fulfillment of compliance requirements
• Coach and supervise junior staff if required
• Provide production support and resolve production incidents

• Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor

  Job Requirements:- Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines

• Minimum 7 years' system development and support experiences
• Solid experiences in SWIFT processing and technical support
• With knowledge and experience in BM Mainframe application development (i.e. z/OS, DB2, CICS, MQ, Cobol, etc) or Linux platform support is an advantage:
• Proficiency in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
• Familiar with both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Experience in financial services industry or regulatory bodies is an added value
• Knowledge with JIRA and Confluence is an advantage

• Candidate with less experience may be considered as Systems Analyst
