Assistant Manager ,Business Intelligence [12-Month Contract]

Job Description
Our client, a well-known financial services firm in Hong Kong, is looking for a detail-oriented and business-savvy Analyst to join the team on a 12-month renewable contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and deliver actionable reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to support strategic initiatives.
- Support data governance and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Work with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and pipelines.
Requirements of the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, ideally within financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Excel and Python for data analysis.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
