Job Description
Our client is a family office focused on PE/VC Businesses in Asia. They're looking for an Investment Manager to manage a family office's investment portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, structure, and recommend private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment transactions, conducting due diligence, financial modelling, risk assessment, and valuation analysis.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, rebalance allocations, and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Establish investment processes, governance frameworks, and robust reporting structures for accuracy and transparency.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with external investment managers, advisor, and financial institutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the family, screening investments and making clear, insightful recommendations aligned with family objectives and values.
- Prepare and present investment reports, performance updates, and strategic reviews for family meetings and decision-making.
- Ensure all investment strategies and activities support the family's broader goals, legacy planning, and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- At least 5 year's experience in investments, asset management, private equity, or a related field, with exposure to multiple asset classes is preferred. Prior experience in a family office, PE/VC, fund of funds, or multi-asset investing is a plus.
- Professional qualifications (CFA preferred) and strong market and product knowledge.
- Proven team leadership, strong responsibility, detail orientation, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin fluency is a plus.
