A well-established corporate bank is looking for a Manager (checker) of Trade Finance, Bills Operations to join their team.
Your new role
- Perform and manage daily Trade Finance Operations activities including Import LC issuance/amendment, bill booking and payment, document checking, Bank Guarantees, Trust Receipts; as well as Export LC related products (Advising, Confirmation, Discounting, Collection, etc.)
- Perform L/C document checking, Import and Export loans processing.
- Handling Import & Export Documentaries for Trade Finance transactions, including operations processing.
- Assist the team head in handling and processing a full set of bill transactions (i.e. export/import service issues).
- Assist the Head of Trade Finance operations with the daily operations of the Bills Processing Centre.
- Respond to customers on queries related to trade finance, import/ export bills.
- Ensure transactions are handled in accordance with the bank's policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 10 years' experience in banking operations and trade finance operations
- In-depth trade finance operations experience and commercial/ commodity trade knowledge
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
