Your new role

Oversee compliance activities for the Hong Kong office of a rapidly expanding asset management firm.
Serve as the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) for Compliance, ensuring regulatory accountability
Support the launch and ongoing administration of Hong Kong-domiciled investment funds.
Act as a liaison between internal teams (Investment, Product, Risk, Finance, Compliance) and external stakeholders (Custodians, Fund Administrators) to monitor fund portfolios.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with current statutory and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular reviews of compliance issues related to operational and investment activities
Maintain and refine the AML and compliance framework, including policies, guidelines, and procedures, in accordance with internal standards and external regulations.
Partner with compliance consultants to facilitate SFC licencing, monitor ongoing professional training, and manage other regulatory processes.
Perform KYC due diligence, client background checks, and ongoing AML transaction monitoring
Organise and deliver training sessions on compliance and AML topics
Coordinate with external auditors and accountants to support audit and financial reporting requirements
Assist with ad-hoc projects focused on quality assurance and compliance enhancement.
