About the Role
The primary role of Internal Audit is to assist the Board, the Local Audit Committee and the executive management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Group. Group Internal Audit (GIA) mission is to provide independent and objective assessment and reporting of the overall effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and governance processes across the Group and appropriately challenge executive management to improve the effectiveness of these processes. GIA also advises business on ways of enhancing the business capacity in managing risk.
We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Principal, Internal Audit Data Analytics, to join our Internal Audit team. This role will support the integration of advanced analytics and machine learning into audit processes to enhance risk identification, fraud detection, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data science and a passion for driving innovation in audit methodologies into an insurance business setting.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Support planning and execution of the data analytics and continuous auditing strategy, in collaboration with Group and BU architecture team, application teams and data analytics platform team.
Manage, lead and execute audits in accordance with the GIA Standards.
Minimum Job Requirements: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics. PhD candidates are welcome to apply.
Ability to work independently and be a strong team player with commitment to quality and strong execution
