The Role We are seeking an exceptional Data Software Engineer to join the Data & Lifecycle technology team. This is a high-visibility role acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Derivatives Reference Data.

You will be the bridge between the Front Office (Trading/Research) and the core technology infrastructure. Your mission is to design and build the "plumbing" that handles complex trade lifecycles, ensuring that the data feeding the trading algorithms is pristine, accurate, and timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering & Automation: Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions to automate trade and position lifecycles (e.g., Corporate Actions, Expiries, Coupon Payments, Instrument Rolling).
• Reference Data Ownership: Maintain and guarantee the quality of reference data for complex derivative products (Futures, Options, Swaps) across global exchanges.
• Strategic Partnership: Work directly with Traders, Quants, and Operations to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• System Reliability: Ensure operational efficiency by building rigorous testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. You will replace manual operational fixes with robust, automated code.

The Ideal Candidate

• Hybrid Expertise: 4+ years of experience in a quantitative trading environment (Hedge Fund, Prop Shop, or Investment Bank). You must be a developer who understands financial mechanics.
• Derivative Knowledge: Deep understanding of Futures and Options, specifically regarding reference data and lifecycle events (e.g., how a stock split affects an option strike, or how futures expire).
• Technical Stack: Strong programming skills in Python or C# (The team is language agnostic, but these are preferred).
• Data Stack: In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational database modeling.
• Mindset: You are a problem solver who values data accuracy above all else. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, flat structure where your code has immediate business impact.
