Job Summary:
Assist the Co-Heads of IPO Vetting to lead and manage a team in reviewing listing application materials of listing applicants and handling pre-IPO enquiries from accounting, auditing and financial disclosure perspective

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:- Act as representative of HKEX in dealing with accounting professional bodies such as Accounting and Financial Reporting Council and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants

  • Engage with external stakeholders and professional advisers
  • Lead and manage projects and initiatives undertaken by IPO Vetting including but not limited to IPO related policy development projects
  • Take an active role in the development of the Listing Division and IPO Vetting by initiating, encouraging and following through management, administrative and operational improvement initiatives, culture enhancement, talent management and training initiatives

    Requirements:- Qualified accountants with a minimum of 18 years of relevant working experience. PRC accounting and auditing experience is an advantage

  • Experience that demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the requirements of Hong Kong/ International Financial Reporting Standards, and knowledge of the Listing Rules including underlying principles and published interpretations
  • Experience in dealing with accounting professional bodies such as Accounting and Financial Reporting Council and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants
  • High standards of integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics
  • Solid experience in leading and managing team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is essential
