Key Areas of Responsibilities

Familiar with credit risk management on FICC business, have solid understanding on reviewing issuer risk from bond or fixed income product investment as well as Structured Notes business.
Prepare credit assessment and Chinese/English write-up report, review credit limit applications and make appropriate recommendations to senior management for approval.
Review and assign appropriate internal credit rating according to the credit profile of each single issuer
Review and assess credit exposures deriving from OTC transactions (Swaps, Repos, Structure Notes etc…)
Prepare daily credit reports and monitor credit exposures, limit breaches. Resolve issues when exceptions occur and properly escalate to senior team members as necessary
Monitor for adverse news which could potentially deteriorate issuer credit quality
Prepare various risk deck from issuer risk angle to Risk Management Committee and Senior Management reports on regularly base or ad-hoc base
Support ad-hoc requests from business and other internal clients

Requirements

5-8 years of relevant risk management experience in Brokerage / Financial institution
Master Degree holder in Finance, Business or related discipline
Good knowledge of financial products (i.e. Bond ,FX, Swap, Futures & Options,Structure products)
Sound understanding of credit risk management, able to identify relevant exposures from different products
Experienced with credit review and write-ups in both English and Chinese.
Capable of developing or enhancing daily risk report through programming skills.
A good team player, quick learner, humble and willing to learn, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and discipline;
Proficient in Excel / Macro /SQL / Python etc. will be a definitely advantage.
Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
