Compliance Review Contractor (3-6 month contract)

Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist to formulate annual compliance review plan by referencing risk assessment results

  • Conduct regular/ thematic compliance reviews on an on-going basis covering the Bank and other major financial subsidiaries within the group to ensure adherence to regulatory / Head Office requirements and internal policies
  • Coordinate or perform regulatory self-assessments
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and changes / developments of business and operations of the Group
  • Support the end-to end compliance review process, which involves planning, design of review methodology/ tools, field work, management reporting etc.
  • Maximize the application of technology for identification of irregularities and sample selection

  • Assist in ad-hoc compliance projects as required

    Requirements: - Degree holder or above in Law, Banking and Finance, Accounting or related disciplines

  • Team player with good communication and time management skills
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility and adaptability to changes
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office & Microsoft Excel
  • With experience in data analytics for Compliance Review work is highly desirable
  • Immediately available is an advantage
